About Your Dentist

Chelsea L. Schafer, DDS

"Smile like you mean it." – The Killers

My Mission

Nothing is more important to me than making our patients feel comfortable, appreciated, well cared for, and valued. When you walk out of the office, I want you to feel good about yourself and good about the experience you had with us.

I believe in dentistry that is customized to suit the individual needs of each of my patients, so I will listen to your concerns and work together with you to come up with solutions.  I want to help you have a healthy, functional, beautiful smile you’re proud of.  My patients deserve my very best, and that’s what I’ll give them.  I love what I do.  It’s as simple as that.

She frequently spends her days off visiting and learning from her mentors both in Colorado and back in the Midwest.  A firm believer in lifelong learning, she is always seizing opportunities to advance her clinical skills and better serve her patients.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Chelsea was born and raised an Indiana Hoosier, but the West has quickly stolen her heart. Since moving to Colorado in the spring of 2019, Dr. Chelsea is always looking for places and things to explore.  When not outdoors hiking or riding horses, she spends her time knitting, watching Netflix, or practicing on her drum set.  An animal lover (R.I.P. Anakin) and diehard Muse fan, Dr. Chelsea is always re-reading the Game of Thrones novels and catching up on her favorite fan podcasts.  You’ll never find her without a Diet Coke near at hand.  Dr. Chelsea lives in downtown Colorado Springs with her three handsome Betta fish and looks forward to welcoming a new baby (puppy) to her animal family soon.

"A smile is often the key thing. One is paid with a smile. One is rewarded with a smile. One is brightened by a smile." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

My Mission

“When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them that I make people smile, literally. As a dentist, I want to help others obtain their ideal state of oral health and smile with pride and confidence. My patients can depend on me to always make them feel comfortable and at ease while under my care. My primary goal is for every single patient to leave our office fully satisfied with their service and feeling great about themselves, their teeth, and our practice.”
